Cheryl's Repertoire

Cheryl’s musical repertoire is large, diverse, and adaptable to many types of occasions. Therefore, she is able to provide harp music for healing and celebration. Her experience as a harpist includes playing at weddings, afternoon teas, holiday parties, business events, art auctions, luncheons, dinners, neighborhood block parties, synagogue services, and wellness events accompanying massage therapists, as well as at funerals, memorial services, viewings, and healing services.

Healing Music

Noodling, or improvisational playing on the harp, is often used for healing situations. It creates an unfamiliar sound that invites meditation and relaxation. There are many different scales, and each offers a unique sound and mood. Cheryl noodles in many scales and chooses them carefully based on the situation. The tempo of her healing music is generally slow, with a smooth and gentle touch.

Some familiar songs lend themselves to healing situations because of their comforting sound and lyrics, including certain religious and spiritual songs.
